Gianna Greco

Children's Classes

Gianna Greco has been passionately dedicated to dance for over a decade, with her primary training and education taking place under the guidance of Felicia Fry at Divergence Dance Conservatory. Felicia, with her extensive experience in dance education and choreography, has played a pivotal role in shaping Gianna’s development as a dancer. At Divergence Dance Conservatory, Gianna has been immersed in a nurturing and inclusive environment that emphasizes growth, artistry, and community. Through Felicia's mentorship, Gianna has honed her skills across various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop, in state-of-the-art facilities designed to inspire excellence.

Gianna has also been an active performer with Placer Theater Ballet, an organization dedicated to bringing the joy of ballet to the community and providing young dancers with the opportunity to perform in full-length ballets on stage. Through Placer Theater Ballet, Gianna has had the privilege of training under the guidance of esteemed instructors Peggy Dolkas and Robin Bartholomew. Peggy Dolkas, a former Soloist with Ballet West and a renowned choreographer, has played a key role in developing Gianna's classical ballet technique and artistry. Robin Bartholomew, with her rich background in ballet and extensive experience as a performer and teacher, has further enhanced Gianna's performance skills and stage presence. These experiences have allowed Gianna to take on significant roles, including the Snow Queen and Chinese Tea Lead in their production of The Nutcracker.

Currently, Gianna is a trainee with TwoPoint4 Dance Theater, where she is mentored by Artistic Director Tony Nguyen. Tony, known for his innovative and thought-provoking dance theater works, leads the company with a vision that challenges societal norms and pushes the boundaries of contemporary dance. Under Tony’s direction, Gianna has the opportunity to collaborate closely with industry leaders and immerse herself in a professional environment that encourages artistic risk-taking and deep exploration of human movement. This experience has been instrumental in broadening Gianna's creative expression and understanding of dance as a powerful medium for social commentary.

In addition to her dancing, Gianna has been teaching for several years and holds a teaching certificate with Cecchetti USA. Her commitment to both learning and teaching dance reflects her deep passion and promising future in the world of dance, strongly influenced by the exceptional guidance of Felicia Fry and the visionary leadership of Tony Nguyen.
