Haley Jones

Haley Jones has dedicated over a decade to mastering the art of dance, building a solid foundation through her training at prestigious institutions such as Citrus Heights Dance Academy, Divergence Dance Conservatory, and Placer Theater Ballet. Her journey in dance has been deeply influenced by her primary mentor, Felicia Fry, at Divergence Dance Conservatory. Under Felicia’s expert guidance, Haley has refined her technique across a broad range of styles, including ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop, within an environment that fosters artistic growth and community engagement.

 

At Placer Theater Ballet, Haley embraced the opportunity to perform in leading roles such as Waltz of the Flowers and Russian in their full-length productions. These experiences allowed her to develop a commanding stage presence and technical precision, essential for her continued growth as a performer. Her training at Placer Theater Ballet was further enriched by the tutelage of Peggy Dolkas and Robin Bartholomew, whose distinguished careers in classical ballet and extensive teaching experience provided Haley with the advanced skills necessary to excel in both performance and technique.

 

Haley’s commitment to excellence in dance is also reflected in her academic achievements within the Cecchetti method. She has successfully completed Cecchetti grades Standard 6 and Grade 8, which are recognized as rigorous milestones in classical ballet training. Her dedication to perfecting her craft led her to participate in the Cecchetti USA (CUSA) summer intensive programs, where she continued to push her technical and artistic boundaries.

 

Beyond her own training, Haley has been sharing her passion for dance through teaching for the past three years. Her pedagogical skills were recognized with a Teaching Certificate with Distinction from Cecchetti USA, an honor that underscores her ability to impart knowledge with clarity and inspiration. Haley’s teaching approach is informed by her extensive experience and her desire to nurture the next generation of dancers, ensuring they receive the same high-caliber education she has benefited from.
